We recently sat down with one of our talented frontend developers, Alessandro to kick off the start of our new blog series ‘The Faces of Simplaex’. This series is designed to share some interesting insights into the R&D team behind Simplaex.
How long have you worked at Simplaex?
I joined 3 years ago, back in the very early days of Simplaex.
Why did you choose to work at Simplaex as a frontend developer?
I decided to work at Simplaex because I was excited to work with a team of great professionals and I really liked the vibe of the company. In the past years, I have been able to continually develop my skills, and many of my colleagues have become great friends of mine.
What excites you about your role?
I like the fact that I have the chance to develop, together with experienced colleagues, complex products using powerful technologies.
What are your favorite features, and how have you implemented them into your projects?
My favorite features are the ones which look simple to the user but at the same time are dynamic and versatile, hiding a complex logic. With our agile process, we focus first on the core functionalities, in short, and constant cycles of release and feedback we receive from the customer.
What are your favorite types of frontend projects to work on? What do you like about them?
I often develop single page applications. They are web applications which technically are very similar to most of other websites, but from a user experience point of view they feel more responsive and smooth, similar to a program or a native app.
